Travel Insurance & Protection
Updated September 30, 2026 · Planning and account services; no online supplier booking or payment
GLOBUS provides general travel-insurance information and an agency inquiry route. No insurer catalog, quote, purchase or policy-issuing service is connected on this website. An inquiry does not confirm eligibility or bind coverage.
1. Separate products, separate terms
Travel insurance, supplier cancellation waivers, assistance services and payment-card benefits are not the same product. A marketing label is not a policy. Before offering an actual product, identify the insurer or program provider, licensed producer where applicable, price, eligibility, policy documents and who handles a claim.
2. Coverage must be verified
Benefits, limits, exclusions, preexisting-condition rules, pregnancy provisions, cancellation reasons and purchase deadlines differ by plan. Do not assume that travel medical insurance reimburses trip cancellation or that a supplier waiver covers medical care. Coverage questions and suitability assessments must be handled by a properly authorized professional.
3. Voluntary choice
An optional product must not be added by default. Acceptance or declination should be recorded separately from booking authorization, without misleading pressure. Declining insurance does not waive a refund right or GLOBUS’s own responsibility. Buying insurance does not guarantee payment of every claim.
4. No borrowed promises
GLOBUS will not describe another company’s branded protection program as its own, claim guaranteed coverage, or promise cancellation for any reason unless the actual offered product provides it subject to fully disclosed conditions. A plan may be activated only after licensing/appointment, supplier and disclosure checks.
Insurance information requests
Before any future insurance purchase, review the named insurer or authorized seller, availability for your residence and trip, price, policy wording and cancellation terms. Availability is not guaranteed for every traveler or destination. The GLOBUS general-information form does not quote premiums, recommend an individual policy, evaluate existing coverage, confirm eligibility or bind coverage. Do not send medical records or diagnoses through it. Questions about benefits, exclusions, preexisting conditions, pregnancy and claims require the actual policy and an authorized insurer or licensed producer. Travel purchases and referral rewards do not automatically include insurance.
Your account inquiry and policy documents
An insurance inquiry receives a reference and status in Requests & Support. It is not an insurance application, purchase, accepted quote or proof of coverage. Provide only destination, dates, traveler count, residence and a general question; do not include medical records.
If the agency has an actual policy document for your confirmed trip, it can securely upload that file to My Documents. Review its insurer, policy number, covered dates and conditions. The stored file does not replace the issuer’s coverage confirmation or claim process.
