Cookie Policy & Privacy Choices

1. Saved ideas on this browser

The localStorage key globus-new-preview-v1 stores only ideas or planning preferences you choose to save, which can include destinations and dates. It has no automatic expiry. The Clear saved ideas control removes this key from the current browser. It does not clear earlier service cookies, HTTP Basic credentials, host logs, emails, downloaded files or another site’s data.

If the browser refuses a storage change, the control reports failure. Closing a tab alone may not remove saved ideas.

2. Planning handoff

Planning form values remain in page memory until you choose a plan handoff. That action briefly stores your route, dates, traveler count and preferences in sessionStorage under globus-plan-handoff-v39; My Account consumes and removes it. This is a planning snapshot, without live inventory, a fare hold or a reservation.

Private account data is loaded from the server into page memory after sign-in. Credentials, session identifiers and private documents are not stored in localStorage. The account uses an HttpOnly session cookie rather than a browser-stored bearer token.

3. Earlier supplier-search records

This website no longer creates or uses a supplier flight-search session. Cookies or server records from an earlier release may remain until they expire or are removed under the relevant retention process. Removing the website connection does not immediately erase earlier host logs, backups or outside provider records.

4. Customer and staff sessions

Customer cookie globus_customer and staff cookie globus_agency are separate, with Path=/api, Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict on HTTPS. Application sessions expire after one hour idle or twelve hours from creation. Password reset revokes earlier customer sessions. Sign out on a shared device; clearing saved ideas alone does not sign you out.

HTTP Basic access may separately protect a private site preview. Request counters and hosting logs are separate from browser-saved ideas and are not cleared by that control.

5. Outside information and contact links

Official-information and contact links open only when chosen. The outside service may use cookies or storage under its own notice. No travel supplier widget, referral link or retailer checkout is connected. Clearing GLOBUS saved ideas does not manage or erase another service’s records.

6. GPC and Do Not Track

This website can display whether your browser reports Global Privacy Control. That display does not configure an outside service’s preferences or send a request for you. No supplier referral tracking or optional advertising is active here. Global Privacy Control and the legacy Do Not Track signal are different; this page does not implement a separate DNT response mechanism.

7. Information remaining from an earlier service

Removing a supplier connection does not clear data already processed by that supplier or invalidate an existing booking. Use the privacy and support contacts attached to that earlier transaction. The GLOBUS browser-data control only clears the specified GLOBUS saved-ideas key.

8. Your choice is not a contract waiver

Declining optional marketing must not require agreeing to extra fees, losing a lawful refund or signing away privacy rights. Some genuinely necessary booking functions may use limited storage; that does not justify unrestricted tracking. Questions: info@globustravelandtours.com.

9. Server account controls

Use My Account to export your account information or submit a closure/deletion review request. Clearing browser-saved ideas affects only that browser key. It does not remove server trips, messages, files, provider records, email or backups.
