Privacy Policy & Customer Information
Updated September 30, 2026 · Planning and account services; no online supplier booking or payment
This notice covers the GLOBUS website, customer accounts, saved travel plans and agency requests, manually linked confirmed bookings, private travel documents and Travel Safety information. Online travel supplier search, booking, payment, membership enrollment and insurance-policy issuance are not connected in this release.
1. Contact and scope
GLOBUS TRAVEL AND TOURS, 7151 Foothill Blvd, Tujunga, CA 91042; +1 424-444-4544; info@globustravelandtours.com. Use this address for privacy questions, requests, complaints and suggestions. Sales inquiries use sales@globustravelandtours.com.
Customer accounts and necessary information
Creating an account sends your name, email address, consent acknowledgment and password to the GLOBUS server over HTTPS. A password hash is stored; a readable password is not. One-use email-verification and recovery tokens are stored as hashes. Email verification is required for travel, insurance and support inquiries. A signed-in customer may submit a manual account-closure review while email verification is pending. Signing up does not subscribe you to marketing.
Saved plans can contain destinations, dates, traveler counts, child ages supplied by an authorized adult and preferences. Requests contain the subject, message and selected trip or insurance-inquiry details. These records are stored in a private database and require your signed-in session. Do not enter passport numbers, payment-card credentials, Social Security numbers, diagnoses or medical records into ordinary messages.
2. Destination and airport planning
The bundled place and airport directories provide planning suggestions locally in your browser. Typing a destination does not request supplier inventory, pricing or availability. Enter only information needed to plan your route; avoid passport, payment-card or medical information in location fields.
A chosen homepage planning handoff can carry destination, dates, traveler counts and preferences to My Account. Saving a plan or submitting an agency inquiry uses the GLOBUS account service; neither action sends a booking request to a travel supplier.
Confirmed trips, documents and Travel Guardian
GLOBUS staff can link a booking after verifying its customer and supplier confirmation. The account stores the booking reference, itinerary details, dates, agency notes and record state. This manual record is separate from a supplier booking API. Updating its displayed state does not cancel or modify the supplier reservation.
Tickets, vouchers and insurance-policy files uploaded by authorized agency staff are stored outside the public website and may be downloaded only by their account owner or authorized staff. The account does not collect customer identity-document uploads. An insurance-policy file does not by itself prove that coverage is active; the issuer and actual policy control.
Travel Guardian in this release provides checklists and a support route for confirmed trips. It does not continuously monitor flights, contact emergency services, issue automatic alerts or provide an insurance guarantee.
Necessary sessions and access records
The globus_customer and globus_agency cookies identify separate customer and staff sessions. Production cookies use Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict and Path=/api. Sessions end after one hour without activity or twelve hours from creation; password reset revokes earlier customer sessions. Server session files and backups can outlast application session validity. Changing the configured agency credential invalidates earlier agency sessions on their next access.
The server records action types, record identifiers and timestamps for account activity, together with keyed IP/email digests for abuse limits. It does not put passwords, mail tokens or message bodies in these application audit events. Hosting access logs and mail infrastructure can retain their own technical records.
Delivery of requests and email
Account requests are stored in the agency queue and receive a reference. Received means saved to GLOBUS records; it does not mean staff have read it, approved a quote or confirmed a booking. Staff replies appear in your account. Check the Requests & Support section for progress. Urgent travel help uses +1 424-444-4544 and the contact stated in your booking documents.
Verification and recovery email use the hosting mail service. A message accepted by that service is not proof of inbox delivery. If it does not arrive, check spam and contact GLOBUS. Separate guest and feedback forms that prepare an email draft send nothing until you send the draft through your email application.
Browser storage and account privacy
The account portal does not place passwords, session tokens, private trips, documents or request messages in localStorage. A chosen homepage planning handoff uses the sessionStorage key globus-plan-handoff-v39 for the next account page, which consumes and removes it. It can include a destination, dates, traveler count, brief preferences and route preferences; it does not contain credentials or payment data.
The older globus-new-preview-v1 browser-saved ideas key can remain on a device from earlier versions until you clear it. It is not automatically imported into your account. Clearing that key does not remove server account records or sign out the account.
Outside services and earlier bookings
No travel supplier scripts, widgets, affiliate links or checkout are active in the current website. Official-information and contact links are optional outside services governed by their own notices. No external purchase or account automatically synchronizes with GLOBUS plans, bookings, balances or documents.
Removing a website connection does not erase records already held by an earlier provider. Existing confirmations, terms and support contacts remain relevant to those transactions.
8. Messaging, social links and external sites
WhatsApp, Viber and Telegram use +1 424-444-4544 as the agency-provided contact number. A displayed link does not verify account reachability or message delivery. Following a link is your choice; the selected platform receives information according to its own practices. We do not load a social feed automatically. Browser-data controls cannot delete a message already held by a platform or email provider.
California privacy choices
Where the CCPA applies to GLOBUS and the relevant processing, rights may include knowing, correcting, deleting, opting out of sale or sharing, limiting certain sensitive-information uses, and nondiscrimination. No provision of these terms waives those rights. Applicability has not been determined from revenue, data-volume or other business records. No supplier referral tracking is active in this website. The local privacy page can display your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal, but that display alone does not manage an outside service’s preferences or transmit a request on your behalf.
Do Not Track and optional tracking
No supplier tools, referral tracking, behavioral advertising or analytics service is active in this website. The local page does not implement a separate response to legacy Do Not Track, which is distinct from Global Privacy Control. Official-information and contact links open only when chosen and are subject to the outside service’s own notices. A link choice is not a blanket waiver of privacy rights or permission for unrelated marketing.
Membership Booking Credit and source-specific records
The Booking Credit illustration processes only fictional amounts in the current browser and does not save or transmit them as account records. Membership inquiries use the contact fields only to prepare the email draft requested by the visitor; sending requires their separate action.
Production records must distinguish Booking Credit, ordinary RP, SP, purchased Wallet value and earned-only allowances. Keep the verified member, accepted terms, payment and membership term, grant, reservations, uses, refund allocation and source references with proportionate retention and access controls. Store no full card credentials in this ledger. Sharing a device does not combine accounts.
Travel eSIM and preparation information
The travel eSIM and preparation pages contain first-party guidance and inquiry links only. No provider destination selector, product catalog, supplier search, affiliate tracking, shopping cart, activation or checkout is connected. A connectivity question sent through a GLOBUS account or email uses the corresponding agency-request route described above.
Retention, requests and account closure
There is no automatic expiry for saved customer plans, requests, trip records or documents in this release. GLOBUS must apply an appropriate manual retention and deletion process, including relevant service records and backups. Access controls and HTTPS reduce risk but cannot guarantee complete security.
Use Profile & Privacy in My Account to download your stored account information or submit a closure/deletion review request. A submitted request enters the agency queue; it does not instantly delete the account or cancel travel. You can also contact info@globustravelandtours.com or +1 424-444-4544 without creating a new account. Appropriate identity verification and limited lawful retention may be needed before release or removal.
Closing an account must not forfeit a lawful refund, valid purchased credit or already contracted service. Staff must explain retained information and provide a suitable route for outstanding service before closing access.
Children, optional communication and future apps
Accounts are for adults. A parent, guardian or appropriately authorized adult may enter limited child-age information for travel planning. No advertising consent is included in registration. Optional device permissions and notifications for future phone apps must be separate, explained and requested when needed. No native iOS or Android app or push-alert service is released by this website package.
